The main hotel was built in 1803 and has been in the proud ownership of the Watt family for the past thirty years or so. The branch was notified of a pair of hand pumps on the bar during the Summer of 2018 offering Trade Winds from Cairngorm, and an alternating beer from Two Thirsty Men on the second, so both very "LocAle" travelling from Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey respectively. At the weekends there are promotions on food (Fajita Friday, Steak Saturday and Sunday carvery / roast) and also entertainment. Located towards the Northern boundary of the Cairngorm National Park, there is a wealth of activiites available within a short distance, including Landmark Forest Adventure Park, Spey Valley Steam Railway, and many other attractions around Aviemore. Please note that the hotel closes during the winter months.
