A newcomer to Inverness in 2017 and an instant hit! Offering an insight to Scottish history, culture, food and drink. Six fonts offer different beers from local breweries, and cask ale is occasionally available on the one hand pump. You never know what is on until you get there. There is also an extensive collection of bottled beers to choose from. The main bar is in one area, while a second is reached by a short corridor. MacGregors Bar is he brainchild of musician Bruce MacGregor (Blazin' Fiddles) who is a regular attendee, particularly on Sunday afternoons. NB: We have as many reports about no real ale being available at MacGregor's as there are about something being on, hence availability is indicated as 'occasional'. Please do not send any updates about ale being on/not on. [Update 21 Feb 2025: Report of eight keg fonts available, with several local live beers typically. One cask available via handpump - Cromarty Kowabunga, said to change randomly.]
