A bar and restaurant, formerly open to non residents, in a small family run hotel. Built in the 1880s as a private hunting lodge, for Laird Macintosh of Macintosh, the branch was advised in Summer 2017 of an Isle of Skye hand pump! Be sure to ask after "Oscar" the resident macaw. Please note, only open between 1 March and 31 October, and "dummy" times" until visited. [Update 23 Jun 2029: "Please note that Glenspean Lodge Hotel is a food-led establishment, you can only drink if also dining. Four of us turned up after climbing a couple of close-by hills only to be turned away, nicely. Maybe make this clear in the description."]
