The McInnes House Hotel is set in Kingussie which lies at the centre of the the Caingorms National Park, and is at the heart of "Monarch of the Glen" TV series. Originally built in 1884, as the Manse for Kingussie's Free Presbyterian Church with money from a local man, George Ross Mackenzie, who emigrated and found fortune in America as the president of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Converted to a Hotel in the 1960s. Taken over by the current owners in Nov/Dec 2017. [Update 27 May 2024: in addition to the Trade Winds on hand pump there are bottles available from Cairngorm and three from Spey Valley.]
