The Ferry Inn is a refurbished family-run inn located in the beautiful fishing village of Uig in the North of the Isle of Skye. Both lively and stylish, the Inn has a restaurant, bar and four boutique en-suite rooms and is centrally positioned on the southwest-facing Uig Bay, with a fantastic view towards the Waternish peninsula. The inn is very handy for the ferry terminal which is about about 1/2 mile and and easily found on the main Uig/Portree road. With a bar frequented by both locals and tourists it has a lively vibe with a double sided stove and a specially crafted collection of gins and cocktails. The bar has two hand pumps with ales from both local Skye brewery's (Isle of Skye and Cuillin) always rotating. Also Skye Brewery Eilean-Òr, Black Isle Organic Scottish Lager and Shed Head, on font. Food at the Ferry Inn is served in both the restaurant and bar and is based on making the most of fresh seafood, landed at Uig pier, fantastic local meats, and lovely produce from local Skye and Scottish vegetable and salad producers.
