On 25 July 2020, Richard Comfort, the proprietor of Station Hotel emailed H&WI branch to advise "the Station Hotel is permanently closed." Accordingly the status of the pub has been set to "Closed, reason unknown". This might be the first casualty within H&WI of the COVID pandemic. What follows is the historic description:- Following a brief incarnation as a restaurant between 6 August and 30 October 2014, The Station Hotel re-opened as a pub. As a restaurant it was "drinks at the table" only. GBG listed in the 90s, but no real ale for many years until Richard & Lorraine bought the pub and refitted before re-opening in March 2011. The Station is now a well run, busy village pub which offers an excellent selection of Scottish beers. Normally it has a Cromarty beer, but also Cairngorm or Speyside on a 2nd pump. 3rd pump on during the summer months. Generously sized meals at very reasonable prices.
