Stravaigers Lodge opened again in Spring 2015! Located half way between Fort William and Inverness along the magnificent Great Glen, Stravaigers Lodge is an independent, family run, lodge just 5 mins walk from Fort Augustus and offers low cost, quality accommodation for individuals, families and groups and is open seasonally. One of the two buildings previously used for accommodation has been converted into a bar / lounge / dining area (2014). Ideally located for day trips to explore Skye to the West, Inverness and John O'Groats to the North (both "do-able" in a day), and the Fort William area to the South. Aviemore and the Cairngorm can also be reached easily. With Loch Ness on the doorstep, walking and "messing about on the water", or even "Nessing" about, watching out for the legendary monster! Camping is available if the lodges are full, and secure storage of bicycles and canoes is available. **** Times provisional, phone to confirm - Desk Top Survey, visit and picture soon! ****
