The Poolewe Hotel is an historic 16th-Century coaching inn, situated on the shore of Loch Ewe, opposite the world famous Inverewe Gardens. Ideally located on the Wester Ross Tourist Route between Gairloch & Ullapool. Loch Ewe was the setting off point for convoys to Arctic Russia in WW2 and regular events and exhibitions are held locally. Excellent meals are served in the Bar and separate dining room - booking strongly advised in the tourist season when it can get very busy! Two handpumps feature varying brews from the local An Teallach brewery. The 12 en-suite bedrooms (3 recently added) offer loch or mountain views.
