See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Cannich is the gateway to the magnificent Glen Affric and the rugged hills beyond. The Slaters Arms is popular with locals, anglers, cyclists, bikers, walkers and those from the nearby camping site. The layout inside is open, but still retains cosy corners. The sun-room and an extensive decked area at the rear of the restaurant offer excellent views along Strathglass. Accommodation includes four new fully equipped self-catering log cabins which can each sleep four people, and B&B rooms (seasonal) at the pub. A wide variety of freshly prepared food is available (also as take-away) from noon to 9pm normally, but also 'walk-ins' until 10pm. Not sure what to chose? Try the highly praised steak pie. Dogs are very welcome and will be at home with Kyle by the fire. Occasional live music during the summer. Why not provide entertainment for yourself and others, a piano, guitar, bodhran, chanter & some whistles available to play for impromptu sessions. [Update 14 May 2023: Report of no real ale on, the pub has reported "We have craft beers from Glen Affric brewery but no cask ale right now". Future updates as available.]
