The Kings House is thought to be one of the oldest public houses in Scotland dating back to the 17th Century. Used as a barracks after the battle of Battle of Culloden (1745), for the Kings officers who used it to patrol and keep the"Highlanders" under control. Very popular will hill walkers and particularly those completing the West Highland Way. Re-opened after a massive refurbishment in 2018.
