The Boat Hotel is set in the Cairngorm National Park, the biggest in the UK. There is plenty to do for young and old. Children (of all ages!) can have a day at Landmark adventures, or maybe the Highland Wildlife Park. Get a feel of past Highland life at the Folk Museum. There is plenty of opportunity to see the wildlife including deer and reindeer. For the twitchers, there are the Ospreys and Eagles. If you just want the stunning scenery to chug by, why not try the Strathspey Steam Railway close to the hotel? Of course, being Speyside, there are one or two distilleries locally.
