From Inverness, Ullapool is 26 miles and Dingwall 20 miles behind. The Inchbae Lodge is a former coaching Inn built in the mid-1800s. Wood panelling adorns the walls of the the bar presents a cosy atmosphere seating approximately 32 guests.

Previous owners used to go to bed, and operate an "honesty" bar, - serve yourself and get and pay for the drinks, and astoundingly, there was never any issue. A period of "bottles only", before An Teallach, and currently (summer 2019) Cairngorm ale is available on the single handpump.

Worth a stop even for just a cup of tea. Rooms available,
