Kinlochewe Hotel (Beinn Eighe Bar)Kinlochewe
See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
Set amid the magnificent Torridon hills, the approach from Achnasheen offers one of the best views in the Highlands, and the area is popular with visitors of all interests.
Once a 1800 century coaching inn, David has six handpumps with a tempting selection of local and regional beers including a real cider.
Kinlochewe has always taken great pride in his tasty and simply prepared locally sourced fish, meat and game.
Accommodation available in the Hotel, or 12 bed bunkhouse, however book well in advance because it is a very popular stop on the North Coast 500.
Be sure not to miss the wonderful wildlife photographs around the bar and the interesting table tops made from three rather large trees.
Kinlochewe was sold in April 2017, but remains branch Pub of the Year for 2017.
