Set amid the magnificent Torridon mountains, the approach from Achnasheen offers one of the best views in the Highlands, and the area is popular with visitors of all interests. Once an 18th century coaching inn, the pub has two remaining of its former six hand pumps. Kinlochewe has always taken great pride in his tasty and simply prepared locally sourced fish, meat and game. Accommodation available in the Hotel, or 12 bed bunkhouse, however book well in advance because it is a very popular stop on the North Coast 500. Be sure not to miss the wonderful wildlife photographs around the bar and the interesting table tops made from three rather large trees. Branch Pub of the Year for 2017.
