The very popular, privately-run Scottish country-inn style hotel in the heart of Lochaber, is an ideal base for exploring the Ben Nevis range, the Great Glen, and the Parallel Roads of Glen Roy. Four hand pumps dispense a selection of Scottish beers, often from Highlands and Islands breweries, plus an occasional cider. The count may drop to two hand pumps in the winter months to match footfall. Freshly-prepared food is served all day, from ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Current proprietor Gabriel took the place on in October 2019. If travelling on the A82 Glasgow to Inverness road (or off the A9 at Dalwhinnie) it is a great place to stop and recharge your beer batteries for an onward journey - why stop, when you can stay!
