In May 2021 the branch received notice that Ocean View had Black Isle Beers available, one keg offering, and an extensive selection of bottled (and canned) beers. It is understood (from the Brewery) that the bottles and cans are "real ale".
Following an extensive refurbishment, Clare and Stuart reopened Ocean View late 2020.
Set just off the A832 coast road between Gairloch and Kinlochewe, Ocean View is a popular stopping off point for those touring the West coast or the North Coast 500, with many staying longer to take in the stunning scenery, views and spectacular sunsets.
Noted for its acclaimed "dog friendly" welcoming, expect your pooch to be pamperd, with treats for well behaved dogs always available, including a packet of treats in the room if you are staying.
You are likely to find the owners dog, "Sprocket", in front of the warming wood burning stove in the bar area on cooler days.
Locally, the roofless Chapel of Sand of Udrigil dating back to the 7th Century is worth a visit.
The branch thanks Stuart Jackson (owner of Ocen View) who forwarded the images.
